McCain partners with world’s first NFT restaurant to offer ‘Regen Fries’ at pop-ups around Toronto

If you’re Canadian, you’ve likely had McCain fries dozens, hundreds, heck, even thousands of times in your life. Now, McCain Foods has collaborated with Bored & Hungry to serve up Regen Fries at pop-ups around Toronto!

McCain has been making a huge push towards sustainability and regenerative farming practices, and they’ve taken that a step further by bringing it into the metaverse.

Inside the free-to-play Farms of the Future game, integrated into the popular Roblox title ‘Livetopia’, users can explore the #SaveOurSoil campaign and regenerative agriculture.

In the real world, McCain Foods has teamed up with Bored & Hungry, which is the first NFT restaurant in the world.

The pop-ups in Toronto are an extension of Bored & Hungry’s location in Los Angeles, which is now selling McCain Regen Fries at its brick-and-mortar spot.

And now, you can try these fries made by regenerative farming here in Toronto! Anyone that comes by can get themselves a full-size sample of Regen Fries along with sauces to top the taste off.

Plus, you get a chance to play the Roblox game on-site and win some tasty fry-inspired merch for yourself. Food AND merch? Now you’re talking.

This limited-time pop-up is all about saving our soil and changing our farming practices, to create food that is delicious but good for the planet as well.

So get out to the mobile McCain x Bored & Hungry pop-up and snack on a few slices of the future!
