Do you believe in magic? Whether you’re a skeptic or keep an open mind, Magnetic Hill in New Brunswick, Canada is a must-visit.
A destination known around the world, this unusual spot is one of the oldest tour attractions in the province and has left many scratching their heads.
Located 15 minutes from Moncton, the world-famous hill has been described as a “naturally provocative mystery”—but is it?
Here, cars appear to roll uphill, but there’s a simple explanation.
According to the Science Teachers’ Association of Ontario, this is just an optical illusion in which a sloped terrain creates the appearance of objects rolling uphill, but that truly doesn’t make it any less exciting.
“Drive to the bottom of this world-famous hill, shift into neutral, and be prepared to be amazed,” Tourism New Brunswick writes.
“Stories about Magnetic Hill have been around since the early 1800s, and this wondrous place has been puzzling visitors for decades.”
Interested in making the trip? There’s so much more to the area!
If you’re among those looking for adventure, you can also visit their zoo, the nearby winery and Magic Mountain, which is an amusement park with rides, a mini golf course and Atlantic Canada’s largest waterpark.
You’re going to have a blast!
Enjoy and happy rolling.
