With so many hurting, displaced and living out their worst nightmare overseas, one Calgary favourite aims to raise money and awareness for those in Ukraine. Between now and March 31st, those looking to contribute to an important and lifesaving cause can do so at all Luke’s Drugmart locations across the city.

Serving two flavours this month, Birthday Cake Cookie – a collaboration with Pretty Sweet Bakery and Milk+, Luke’s has pledged 100% of all proceeds made from soft serve sales to the UN Refugee Agency’s Ukrainian Emergency Fund – a charity set up to help families find safe and comfortable places to live during unimaginable times.

Luke’s is open between 7 am to 9 pm on 4th Street and 8 am – 8 pm on 26th Avenue 7 days a week, so please, consider popping by.

If, of course, you’re lactose intolerant or just don’t have a hankering for ice cream there are other ways that you can support those in Ukraine too, some of which you can find here.

It’s a beautiful day to do something good, Calgary – no matter the size of your contribution, you can make a difference.
