Globally renowned ‘all-white’ dinner party to be held at a secret location in Toronto

Here’s a secret you’ll have trouble keeping. The internationally renowned ‘all-white’ secret dinner party is coming back to the city this summer. Le Diner en Blanc has announced its return to Toronto at a brand new secret location. Here’s what we know so far.

The all-white dress code will be in full effect on September 19th as Le Diner en Blanc gathers thousands of well-dressed guests to a secret location.

Get ready for an evening of fashion, delicious food and great company.

Event veterans Lori Heller from Heller Productions Inc. and Marc Talbot from Exclusive Management Services are taking over as co-hosts of this year’s Le Dîner en Blanc in Toronto.

“Marc and I are excited to put our experience in luxe large-scale events to work as we create a spectacular evening with fabulous entertainment, food and wine, capturing the beauty and magic of Le Dîner en Blanc.”

Whether this will be your first Le Diner en Blanc event or not, the same rules apply every year.

You must dress head-to-toe in white only. And take note, “elegance and originality are key, and prizes will be awarded for the best-dressed,” per organizers.

Guests are required to bring a table, two white chairs and a white tablecloth. You must also bring a picnic basket with fine food and proper stemware and white dinnerware.

“So the event location is left as clean as when guests arrived, guests are required to leave with all their belongings, leftovers, and litter,” shares organizers.

Unfortunately, you can’t bring your own alcohol. But not to worry, considering this is a French-influenced event, there will be wine and/or Champagne curated by Toronto wine club, Charlie’s Burgers.

To ease your experience, you may also opt for a catered picnic basket that is prepared by Chef Trevor Lui, which can be picked up on-site.

Guests wishing to receive a catered basket and also opt for the wine offerings must reserve online.

And again, since this is a secret dinner party, guests will not know where it will be held until an hour before the event takes place. Isn’t that exciting?

The ‘all-white’ dinner party was first established in Paris in 1988 and is attended by tens of thousands of guests to this day, at some of the city’s most famous sites including the Eiffel Tower.

Since then, it has charmed over 120 cities in over 40 countries around the world.
