This stunning Washington lavender farm is on an island & opens next month

June is around the corner, and with it returns lavender season! If you’re looking for a new spot to cut your own bunch or purchase a bouquet, add Lavender Hill Farm on your list this year.

Opening for the season on June 20th, Lavender Hill Farm has 20 varieties of the favorite purple flower, and you can stroll in the fields, take photos, as well as shop at the farm store.

The farm also has games, as well as drinks and snacks to enjoy.

Not only that, the stunning spot has epic views of Quartermaster Harbor and Mt. Rainier.

If you’re wondering what varieties you will find in the lavender fields, there are Provence, Grosso, Phenomenal, Royal Velvet and Hidcote.

Lavender season lasts about 6 to 8 weeks, so the farm is expected to close on July 28th.

The best part is, it is located on Vashon Island, so there is more to explore outside of the lavender farm. And if you wanted to stay overnight, Lavender Hill Farm has rentals available as well.
