Lavender lovers, this one’s for you. BC is full of gorgeous lavender farms, and it’s currently peak wildflower season – which means there’s never been a better time to roam a lavender field and breathe in that aromatic air. Thankfully for Vancouverites, there are plenty of farms in Metro Van and beyond that are super accessible. Let’s dive right in!

Harrison Lavender

Harrison Lavender is a boutique lavender farm set near the beautiful Harrison Lake, dedicated to growing lavender and making it into various non-toxic sprays, honey, skin salves, and other home & wellness products. Folks can visit the farm from Tuesday to Sunday between 10 am and 5 pm.

Where: 3777 Wildwood Drive, Agassiz, BC

Tuscan Farm Gardens

After perusing through the winding lavender fields at Tuscan Farm Gardens, visitors can find a relaxing spot on their patio to take in the sights (and smells). This is a great option for folks planning a day trip to Abbottsford!

Where: 6834 Mount Lehman Road, Abbottsford
Cost: $13.50 for GA on weekends

Sacred Mountain Lavender

Open 7 days a week in July and August, Sacred Mountain is a great destination for self-guided tours of the lavender fields (and photo-ops…) as well as all your lavender shopping needs. You can even find recipes for lavender lemon cheesecake, BBQ + lavender-marinated chicken kebabs, and more on their recipe page.

You can find ferry + driving directions here.

Where: 401 Musgrave Road, Salt Spring Island, BC

Damali Lavender & Winery

This farm doubles as a winery (with free wine tastings for groups less than 12!) – so we know what our weekend plans are shaping up to be. Drop by for a jaunt through the lavender labyrinth, sample some vino, and maybe even meet some wild bunnies while you’re there! Damali also offers U-Pick lavender and lavender plants available for purchase.

Where: 3500 Telegraph Road, Cobble Hill
Cost: Free admission!

Full Bloom Lavender

Another family-operated gem, this local farm is well within reach if you live in Metro Van. Full Bloom Lavender has 9 different varieties of over 2,300 lavender plants, so there will be plenty to see during your stay. Note that pets are not allowed and children 3 and under do not require a ticket.

Cost: $7.99+

VanDusen Botanical Gardens

While not exactly a lavender farm, VanDusen does have a pretty stunning amount of lavender plants in bloom currently. The official lavender walk is located just behind the Formal Rose Garden – so why not check it out on your next visit to VanDusen?? After all, it is one of the most scenic spots to snap photos in the city.

We’re ending off this list with one of the most popular spots in Metro Van (and the newest) in the lavender scene – Richmond’s beloved Lavenderland. The massive farm first opened to the public back in June and is already a huge hit.

Where: 8460 Steveston Highway, Richmond

And that’s the list, folks! We hope you enjoy roaming around some beautiful lavender farms this summer.
