Krispy Kreme has finally opened its Edmonton, Alberta, location and you’re going to want to check it out sooner rather than later. After much anticipation, the popular doughnut chain, best known for its glazed dessert, has turned on its hot light and is now open for business.
Located at 4614 Gateway Blvd. Northwest, this particular location spans 4,600 square feet and offers an “unforgettable Krispy Kreme experience,” according to the brand. Here, guests will be able to watch the doughnut-making process up close in their “Doughnut Theatre,” and can enjoy eating them straight off the line.
“We’ve heard from our Edmonton fans and are excited to finally bring our iconic hot doughnuts to the city,” Levi Hetrick, Chief Growth Officer for Krispy Kreme Canada, said before the grand opening. “We can’t wait to share this experience with our new neighbours and friends in Edmonton and beyond.”
If you’re among those with a wicked craving, you’ll want to head over as soon as possible.
Today, Dec. 10, 2024, attendees will receive one FREE original glazed doughnut to celebrate the grand opening — but that’s not all. In addition, the brand will be giving away 12 Golden Tickets which can be redeemed for a free dozen glazed doughnuts every month for an entire year.
Want to check them out, but have a packed schedule? If you’re unable to attend today, don’t fret, because there is no shortage of tasty treats to try throughout the week! While the offer of free doughnuts will be limited to one day only, Krispy Kreme will continue to serve everything from hot coffee and espresso to seasonal sweets like their Grinch creations, original filled, and frosted desserts every day of the week — except Monday.
Krispy Kreme Edmonton is open from Tuesday through Sunday, between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. Head over there and enjoy.
