Karaoke bars in & around Vancouver where you can belt out your favourite tunes

When the weekend rolls around and a mere dance floor doesn’t cut it, karaoke always takes the night to the next level. And while Vancouver might not have a long list of options, there are some solid spots to check out the next time you’re feeling musical.

Without further ado, here are 8 karaoke bars to check out in and around Vancouver.

Prive Kitchen & Bar

We’re starting off with a lesser-known spot that has made karaoke its main game, with private rooms you can reserve with friends that are perfect for parties and gatherings of all occasions. There’s also plenty of fun neon lights, arcade games, and drinking games to take advantage of while you’re here!

Where: 1001 West Broadway, #200

Funky Winkerbeans

Vancouver’s best-known dive bar has karaoke every night of the week, from 9:30 pm to late.

Where: 37 West Hastings Street

Darby’s Public House

Darby’s is a classic visit in Kits with all your classic pub fare and brews, as well as weekly karaoke nights every Wednesday starting at 9 pm!

Where: 2001 Macdonald Street

Numbers Cabaret

Vancouver’s oldest gay bar is a must-visit for karaoke on Sundays, though the bar is a great place to come on a night out regardless of whether you’re planning to belt out your favourite decade hits.

Where: 1042 Davie Street

Millenium Karaoke

You have to drive to Richmond for this one, but it’s still a great spot for some solid karaoke, with private, bookable rooms that allow guests to fully release their inhibitions.

Where: 4451 No 3 Road #201, Richmond

SWITCH

Situated in Robson Plaza, SWITCH offers karaoke every day from 2 pm to 6 pm (all-day karaoke on Wednesdays). Rates are $5 per person, $25 for groups of three, and $65 for eight, and beyond for larger groups.
