Bundle up! There’s a -15°C ice bar experience in Ontario & it’s as cold as it sounds

If you like the cold, or potentially want to try a new experience, this Ontario bar may be just for you. Think an ice bar, -15°C, and layers needed. That’s what Ice bar is all about at the JW Marriott The Rosseau in Muskoka.

Co-founded by Dan Akroyd, yes THE Dan Akroyd, the Crystal Head Vodka ICEBAR experience welcomes visitors into its cold room, surrounded by ice.

According to the JW Marriott, guests who visit will “experience flights of all three Crystal Head Vodka expressions: Original made from Canadian corn, Aurora from English wheat, and Onyx crafted from premium Blue Weber Agave directly sourced from one farm in Mexico.”

As for what to wear, you can definitely plan on a few layers, but the experience will also provide you with a warm jacket prior to entry.

For those looking to visit, the Icebar is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 5 PM to 9 PM. Booking is required.
