If you’re a fan of pop-ups like Batch and the new STACKT Market coming to Vancouver, get ready to add another shipping container bar and outdoor experience to your summer itinerary. Junction Public Market is the city’s newest public marketplace, which will feature a mix of rotating food trucks, artisan vendors, and live entertainment.
Oh, and refreshing sips from the market’s ‘Sipping Container!’
Comprised of customized shipping containers, the new market will be completely free to check out, created in partnership with Cadillac Fairview.
Essentially, think of a piazza-style gathering spot for visitors to meet, shop, and “enjoy a taste of Vancouver,” according to co-founder Patrick Carnegie.
“Every visit to the Junction Public Market will be different,” says Carnegie. “We’ll feature a curated mix of season-long vendors, changing daily vendors, rotating food trucks along with special events, music and viewing parties throughout the summer season.”

In terms of drinks, guests can expect to enjoy a variety of local craft brews from Central City Brewers and Distillers, wine by Stag’s Hollow and JoieFarm Winery, Ward’s Cider and a selection of pre-mixed drinks.
According to organizers, the bar may have extended summer hours on Friday and Saturday nights to allow guests to enjoy their sips further into the night. So stay tuned for more info as it comes!
Taking place at Granville Square from June 28th to September 29th, Junction Public Market will operate from Tuesday through Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm, including holiday Mondays. So consider this your sign to rally your friends together after work to enjoy a summer evening of fun and delicious eats and drinks!
