It looks like Vancouver might get a white Christmas this year

While it might not make last-minute shopping that easy, it would be fun to wake up this Saturday and see some white stuff on the ground. Vancouver’s current forecast is showing a high possibility of a white Christmas, thanks to some extra chilly temperatures this week.

Between now and Friday, Vancouver is set to stay pretty frosty, hovering between 1° and 7° Celsius. But then, starting Friday night (Christmas Eve) the temperature is predicted to drop even more, with lows of -1°C and -2°C on Saturday and Sunday.

Pair that with the anticipated precipitation throughout the week, and the chances are good that Vancouver will actually get some snow on Christmas morning! We don’t know about you, but we’d be so amped that we’d be like Scrooge after his eventful night, handing out geese and vegan alternatives throughout the morning.

So, if you’re only dreaming of sugarplums this week, maybe mix things up and see if you can’t get Old Man Winter in the lineup as well. Who knows, you might just be able to spend Christmas on a toboggan!
