Disney Cruise Line has unveiled its 2027/2028 itineraries, and it’s coming back to Canada’s Atlantic coast for the first time in almost four years.
The announcement comes a day after the iconic cruise line teased coordinates on its Instagram account, hyping fans up for what was to come.
Though a number of exciting tidbits were shared, such as its return to New York City, offering more cruises to several destinations, Disney Cruise Line revealed it would return to Canadian waters by next year.
“Disney Cruise Line is proud to be a leader in family cruising, helping our guests create lasting memories in even more destinations,” said Tracy Wilson, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Cruise Line Operations.
According to the brand, the Disney Wish will visit Boston, Massachusetts; Saint John, New Brunswick; and Halifax, Nova Scotia, in the height of Fall 2027. Knowing the beauty that is Canada in the fall, sightseers are in for a treat as they travel along the Atlantic coast during that season.
The first round of the select Canadian trips will begin in October 2027.
For the Canadian adventure, Disney will offer a five-, six- or seven-night cruise departing from New York. It will visit coastal cities and float by gorgeous landscapes that may include Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island; Halifax, Nova Scotia; and Saint John, New Brunswick, according to Disney.
Though booking has yet to open, the first set of trips is as follows:
To sweeten the experience, seasonal favorites will return in Fall 2027 on select ships – including Canadian itineraries. Halloween on the High Seas sailings will begin in September 2027, where Disney characters will dress in their spooky best, and the ship will offer special entertainment, deck parties, and even trick-or-treating at sea.
And once the holidays roll around, Very Merrytime sailings will take over the Disney Cruise Line in November and December 2027. Expect festive decorations, along with a tree lighting, special deck parties, seasonal treat offerings, and visits from Santa Claus himself.
According to the official website, pricing starts at $4,339 for the five-day experience and increases depending on the trip selected.
