There are so many reasons to plan a visit to IKEA, but we never thought a holiday feast would be one of them. The beloved retailer of all things modern, inexpensive, and even delicious (shoutout IKEA meatballs) has decided to get in the holiday spirit for a new, one-day-only dining event.

On December 15th, folks across Canada can head to their local IKEA restaurant for “Julbord”. It’s a “traditional Swedish holiday smörgåsbord where you will find ham, meatballs, herring, marinated salmon, potatoes, eggs, crispbread, cheese, and much more.” It sounds like the regular delicious IKEA restaurant but slightly more festive and elevated.

Now, remember this is IKEA so the price of this decadent meal is surprisingly affordable. That being said tickets can only be purchased in-store at the cash desk in the Swedish Restaurant or Swedish Food Market. Not to mention, tickets are extremely limited and appear to be pretty much entirely sold out.

So if you’re a massive IKEA fan you’ll want to get over to your nearest IKEA and snatch up those remaining tickets. You can learn more by clicking below and just remember if you miss out on this feast you can always pick up the ingredients from your closest IKEA market. Enjoy folks!
