One of the best places to catch a sunset in Muskoka is on this panoramic lookout in Ontario

If you’re looking to experience one of Muskoka’s most captivating sunset spots, the Huckleberry Rock Lookout Trail is calling your name this fall! Here’s why you should visit this local gem.

You’ll find the trail in Bracebridge, Ontario, about a two and a half hours drive from Toronto.

This beloved trail has been a must-visit for over a century, offering panoramic views of the beautiful Muskoka landscape, according to Discover Muskoka.

Where exactly is it located?

Situated at 1057 Milford Bay Road, Bracebridge, the Huckleberry Rock Lookout Trail spans more than 120 acres, thanks to recent land donations from nearby landowners.

It’s marked by white ribbons on trees and rocks. The 2.5 km loop is easy to follow, ensuring that hikers of all levels can enjoy the route with ease.

Besides the awe-inspiring views, the trail itself is a geological wonder.

Some of the rocks along the trail are over a billion years old! But it’s the vista from the lookout that truly steals the show, especially as the sun dips below the horizon, according to Disover Muskoka.

Whether you’re an avid hiker or a casual visitor, Huckleberry Rock Lookout Trail promises unforgettable scenery and a sense of wonder that makes every step worthwhile.

Don’t miss out on this iconic Muskoka experience.
