“Welcome Christmas”: Beloved holiday musical to light up the stage in Vancouver

If you’re a musical theatre person, get ready to enjoy one of the most beloved holiday tales onstage at The Centre in downtown Vancouver. Innovation Arts and Entertainment will present How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical starting mid-November, and tickets are on sale now.

Based on the classic Dr. Seuss story and Timothy Mason’s Broadway hit, the musical will follow The Grinch, whose heart is “two sizes too small,” and who schemes to steal Christmas from the village of happy-go-lucky “Whos.”

The musical consists of magnificent sets designed by John Lee Beatty and costumes by Rober Morgan. Mel Marvin and Timothy Mason’s music will feature all the hits, including “You’re A Mean One, Mr Grinch” and “Welcome Christmas.”
