Looking for ways to get spooked close to home? You can always head to local favorites like the Georgetown Morgue or less suspecting – the Hotel Sorrento. The hotel is haunted, according to its staff, and if you want to check it out for yourself, there are two events you can attend this Halloween season.

First, let’s start with the haunting. In correspondence with Curiocity, Hotel Sorrento claimed to be Seattle’s “most haunted hotel.” While a hard claim to judge, they do have some credibility to back them.

Hotel Sorrento said that the staff had seen a young boy playing with a ball. Now get this, a historian staying at the hotel recently investigated property records and discovered that a “bellboy died in an elevator shaft after trying to retrieve a ball for a guest.”
