Summer is almost here and that means it’s time to explore the great outdoors. We know that between gear, driving and park passes, getting out there isn’t always super affordable. But this month is an excellent time to go because you can actually visit Washington state parks for free on 3 separate days this June!

You can look forward to free state park entrance on June 10th (National Get Outdoors Day), 11th (Free Fishing Day), and 19th (Juneteenth). The 10th and 11th are unique as typically the free entrance only applies to one-day trips. If you’d like to take advantage of two free days back to back of exploring one park be sure to book your campsites ahead of time to avoid disappointment as it’s sure to be busy. Keep in mind despite free park entrance you will have to pay for campsites.
