Who’s ready for a festive beer tasting event to ring in the spooky season? After the ‘summer bash’ vibes at Superflux this weekend, we’ll certainly be ready for a night of Halloween-themed fun. Luckily, the Croatian Cultural Centre agrees, and they’re hosting a Hoppy Horror Beer Show next month to do just that.
“Any kind’ve beer – you name it – we’ll have it, mead, more exclusive beers, monster burlesque and even more entertainment all wrapped in a Halloween party,” says the event page.
From local names like Brewhall and Humblebee Meadery to out-of-town breweries like Smog City Brewing, Dwinell Country Ales, and Third Moon Brewing – there will be no shortage of unique options at this Halloween beer festival.

So, if you’re looking for something to plunge you straight into the season, this is it. Guests will experience a fully immersive craft beer tasting event and Hollywood Monster burlesque show, all the while dancing to “groovy 60s surf rock” by The Geekenders. Think Monster Mash and that “dance until you die” scene from Hocus Pocus.
In addition to rocking the spooky dance floor, guests can peruse participating market vendors, who will be selling collections of handcrafted tabletop dice, pendants, earrings, bracelets, and more.
The beer show & tasting event will take place at the Croatian Cultural Centre on Friday, October 21st, so mark your calendars and break out your Halloween gear. Tickets are $93.86 for early bird admission, and include access to all the beer, cider, and mead you can drink.
Keep tabs on their socials for the latest scoop, including more details on participating breweries.
We’ll see you at the Halloween beer festival, everyone!
