With the year coming to an end, we’re all wondering what’s what, who’s who, and how our favourite songs, movies, and companies fared in 2021. List after list, the picture becomes more clear but it just wouldn’t be complete without Rover.com’s annual rundown of Calgary’s most popular pet names.
This time around, we saw travel-inspired names like Pheonix, Austin, Chicago, London, and Everest trend well above 80 percent, as well as foodie-friendly names like Nacho, Biscuit, Cinnamon, Mango, and Nugget, climb the charts – though none of these were in the top 10’s of the respective categories.
Dark side monikers like Lucifer and Vader also were more popular than ever – while classics like Fido and Bailey were nowhere to be found.
