It’s an important week, Toronto. From May 3rd – May 9th, we’re taking part in the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Mental Health Week. The 70-year-old tradition is a week where communities, schools, and workplaces come together to celebrate, protect, and promote, you guessed it, mental health. In honour of the occasion, we’re highlighting all the resources Toronto has available if you need a little extra support.
Of course, it’s no secret that the ongoing pandemic has made things even more difficult for those who struggle with mental health issues. When all this COVID-19 business started, the City of Toronto partnered with 13 organizations to help connect folks to free support during this difficult time. This past April, the city added 18 more organizations to that mission.
