Hazukido is a bakery concept bringing together two of the world’s most delicious cuisines: French and Japanese. And while you might not necessarily think of croissants when you think of Japan, you definitely will now.

Focusing on the ‘Shokunin spirit’ of Japan by using only the finest ingredients, Hazukido has perfected the classic flaky, honeycomb texture of the croissant. And each one is filled with a natural buttery aroma and tasty preserves, as is customary in the French tradition.

The cherry on top? The dessert shop’s first outpost in Western Canada is opening right here in Vancouver! And folks won’t have to wait too much longer before doors officially open to the public.

Hazukido confirmed in an email that their Vancouver launch will take place from Saturday, October 29th to Monday, October 31st. So, mark your calendars and ready your taste buds for some unique treats.

From white chocolate croffles (croissants + waffles) and their famous ice cream croisandwiches to their exclusive taro and soybean paste-filled mooncakes – the only challenge you’ll have is choosing what to order. Our suggestion? Get one of each and indulge in a Crème Brûlée-inspired beverage.
