Well, this stinks… or at least, it WILL, but you know what? We wouldn’t have it any other way. This August, cover your nose and let your taste buds take the lead during Granary Road’s annual Garlic Fest, the smelliest, most unique event of the year.
Now, let us preface this by saying Garlic Fest will not be for everyone! Vampires and those with a sensitive palate might want to sit this one out, but the rest of you? You’re in for an insanely memorable experience.

From giveaways and one-of-a-kind bites and vendors galore, Granary Road will have a ton of tasting, learning and cooking events set up all around their family fun-farm.
Try a clove in every colour, sink your teeth into garlicky mac and cheese, dill pickles, stuffed olives, and truffle fries, wander their market, then head over the world’s most judgment-free zone – the goat pen! You know, because they’re even smellier you will be!
Seriously, folks. While this is not what we’d consider a first-date destination, it will be pretty interesting – especially if you like to cook!
You might learn a thing or two but if not, at least you can pride yourself on attending what might be the world’s most physical distance-friendly event. Congrats!
When: Saturday, August 21st & 22nd
Where: 226066 112 Street W, Foothills No. 31, AB
