Looking to add a few new restaurants to your must try list before the end of the year? You don’t have to search too hard because Esquire just released its list of “The Best New Restaurants in America” for 2023 and a Seattle spot made the cut. Let’s check out Hamdi.
Esquire set out to taste the nation, trying 200 restaurants across various cuisines and narrowing down the top 50. Restaurants are not ranked by number but rather are listen in alphabetical order by state.

The Washington restaurant that made the cut is Seattle’s Hamdi. The pop up turned restaurant is known for serving up delicious dishes bursting with authentic Turkish flavours.
Esquire writer Omar Mamoon highlights the menu’s Adana kebab, made with lamb belly and served with flatbread and onion tomato sumac salad.
When it comes to dining, reservations for up to 12 guests can be made on Tock. And this winter they’re also hosting a New Year’s Eve event with Turkish dishes if you want to ring in the New Year with tasty eats. Tickets cost $110 per person and include 7 dishes.
