Ready to have a freakishly good time? The Halloween pop-up bar of your dreams (or should we say nightmares) arrives in Toronto this weekend for an entire month of spooktacular fun.

Open throughout October, Black Lagoon will serve up creepy cocktails in an equally creepy immersive space.

Black Lagoon is a playful celebration of all things horror, goth, and metal where you can dress up in your weirdest costume and “let your freak flag fly.”

The bar is described as an “immersive, creepy-as-hell experience that pays homage to the macabre and throws in a splash of goth and metal for good measure.”

“Wear your costume to these dark dungeons of drink and enjoy innovative and deliciously spooky cocktails!”

The pop-up is brought to us by two veterans of the hospitality industry, Erin Hayes and Kelsey Ramage, who cooked up their first Halloween pop-up back in 2019 in New Orleans.

After its success, the two decided they needed to bring the pop-up elsewhere and make it “bigger, creepier, and louder than ever.” Now, the experience has popped up in cities all over North America.

The creepy cocktails on the menu are something to behold, with names like The Bloodlust, The Darkness, and Blood Rave.

Costumes are not required for entry but are highly encouraged. Why not go all the way?

From terrifying corn mazes to haunted castles, there’s no shortage of spooky experiences around the city to get you into the Halloween spirit this October.

The question is, are you brave enough to try them all?
