Canada’s highest suspension bridge is in BC & it’s over 400 feet above a canyon

Ready to take your summer to new heights? Canada’s highest suspension bridge is right here in BC, and you’ll find it in the small town of Golden, which serves as the gateway to some of the most beautiful national parks in the country.

Golden Skybridge consists of two bridges that are suspended 426 feet above an expansive canyon, which makes for truly stunning views of the Canadian Rockies and Purcell mountains – and equally sublime photos.

So get ready to walk among the clouds and kickstart a summer you’ll never forget.

In addition to the skybridges, visitors can take a thrilling ride through the forest aboard the Railrider Mountain Coaster (AKA Canada’s largest mountain coaster!), soar through the sky on a zipline, or even try their hand at axe throwing.

There are also three kilometres of scenic walking trails to explore, as well as a casual outdoor dining area for guests to refuel during their visit.

Ready to check it out for yourself? Visitors can purchase a Bridge Pass ($45 to $50) for admission to the Golden Skybridge, or opt for an Adventure Pass, which comes with added access to several thrilling rides.

This includes the Railrider Mountain Coaster, the Sky Zipline, the Canyon Edge Challenge Course, the Climbing Wall, and Axe Throwing.

Note that those travelling from Calgary, Canmore, Banff, and Lake Louise can access the summer attraction via Brewster Sightseeing sans car.

So there you have it, adventurers! Enjoy taking your summer adventures to new heights.
