This Ontario park boasts one of the best beaches in its area

Are you ready for your next Ontario adventure? There’s a provincial park north of Toronto that is known for having one of the best beaches in its area. Oastler Lake Provincial Park is next on our radar and here’s what to know.

Located within the Parry Sound region, about two hours north of Toronto, Oastler Lake is one of three provincial parks in the area.

In 2004, UNESCO designated the Parry Sound area as a World Biosphere Reserve, the Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve, per the town.

The other two parks nearby are Killbear Provincial Park, and Massasauga Provincial Park.

The park rests along the Boyne River and is home to panoramic views from its waterfront campsites overlooking Oastler Lake.

This Ontario town is home to three beaches & breathtaking waterfront views

It’s a popular summer park, known for its summer hiking and biking on the nearby Seguin Recreational Trail.

If you’re more of a boating person, its small inland lake is suitable for small boats less than 20 feet long. According to Ontario Parks, there is a boat launch and limited docking facilities on a first-come, first-served basis.

You can also rent a canoe at the park which is also available on a first-come, first-served basis for campers.

But if you’re looking to cool off, Oastler Lake boasts one of the best beaches in the Parry Sound Area.

“There is plenty of room to play a game of volleyball, build sand sculptures, or just relax on the beach,” shares Ontario Parks.

If you’re planning on spending your days outdoors this summer, this is a great add to your bucket list!
