We’re all patiently or maybe not so patiently awaiting the opening of Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena. While that may still be a ways off, we now all have one more reason to visit. The arena’s food & beverage vendors were just announced and we have to say it’s a pretty great lineup.
Clearly, the days of crappy stadium food are over. Climate Pledge Arena really pulled out all the stops by snagging local spots Lil Woodys, Ballard Pizza Company, Elliots Oyster House, and Just Poke. Plus you can also expect to see Din Tai Fung as an option when visiting the arena. It’s really going to bring event viewing and game watching to the next level.

Beyond snagging local spots, the arena also has some pretty intense guidelines for its food and vendors. They include 75% of food ingredients sourced within a 300-mile radius, certified USDA Organic meat when possible, and 100% eggs from cage-free hens. The vendor’s seafood will also meet Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Sustainable Seafood Watch rating and craft beer and house wines will be sourced from within the state or from Oregon.
