‘Western Canada’s largest gaming expo’ is coming to Calgary & here’s what to know

Whether they’re into cosplay or e-sports, fans are encouraged to bring their ‘eh-game’ to the BMO centre this spring, when Game Con Canada rolls into Calgary for a weekend unlike any other.

Described as “Western Canada’s Largest Gaming Expo,” this massive event is meant to bring people together, give them a place to network and help them discover new experiences – no matter their chosen console or genre.

Not only will the convention showcase talent from all over the country, but it will also feature vendors, demonstrations, live music, and interactive activities like their 4,000-square-foot Warhammer laser tag arena, as well as a paint-and-take station.

In addition to this, they’ve also booked influential guests and will have a mega stage where pros will go head-to-head in 4k – but that’s not all!

As if things couldn’t get any better, Game Con has also partnered with Child’s Play Charity to raise money for children in Healthcare facilities – meaning not only will you have a ton of fun, but you’ll also be doing some good.
