Are you a die-hard gamer, so much so that you’ve studied and made a career out of gaming? Well, here’s a list for you. We dove deep and compiled a list of gaming companies that are currently hiring in Canada.

Several of these companies are located in Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton, and Montreal. If you take a look, you may find that many of them are remote.

PlayStation

If you grew up loving the PlayStation name then you may be glad to hear they’re hiring for both their Montreal office and remote work in Canada. Though many of these positions are higher positioned such as the Senior Technical Artist and Senior Environment Artist, there are a few contract job postings up! Take a look at what they have in store.

Dark Slope

This small, yet mighty interactive entertainment company has several positions available in its immersive video game department. From developers to designers, check out the listings and apply today.

Activision

Are you a programmer and hoping to dip your toes into the gaming scene? There are currently two job listings on the official Activision site for the more experienced professional. They’re open for remote work, too!

EA Games

From game design to software development and artwork, EA Games has several job positions available – and we mean SEVERAL. Though most of these positions are remote, there are offices in Vancouver, BC; Edmonton, Alberta; Kitchener, ON; Toronto, ON; and Montreal, QC. It’s worth a look!

Ubisoft

Ubisoft has a few animation, art, and game/level design job positions available! So if working in the animation side of gaming is your calling, you know where to apply. They have openings in Toronto, Quebec City, Montreal and Saguenay.

Krafton

Independent game development studio, Krafton Inc., has opened a new studio in Montreal and they’re hiring! Animation, art, programming, design, and even HR. Check out their openings on its official site.

Epic Games

Imagine getting to work for the same company behind Fortnite?! Epic Games is hiring in Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal. Though you’ll definitely need some experience for a few of these roles, it doesn’t hurt to apply and test your luck.

Rockstar Games

We’re still waiting for GTA 6, Rockstar Games. Anyway, maybe you can help them speed up the process and work at their Toronto location. They have a number of positions available. All you need to do is have your resume ready and apply online.
