The third annual Fun Philippines Toronto Food and Music Festival will showcase everything Filipino. According to Philippine Legacy and Cultural Alliance, this year’s theme is “Experience Philippines: Pearl of the Orient Seas”.

Fun Philippines’ goal is to spread cultural education through fun programs and installations.

Attendees will be treated to traditional folk dances, musical shows, and stunning parades starting July 26th through to the 28th.

As for food, you’ll enjoy a plethora of Filipino street food. We’re talking classics like pancit, lumpia, and halo-halo just to name a few.

“This year promises a more fun and most meaningful experience, as it provides significant attention to the unique flavours, history, and cultural heritage of the Philippines,” shares organizers.

“With Harbourfront Centre as an international centre for contemporary arts, culture and ideas, Fun Philippines will be a cultural enclave of authentic Filipino cuisine, native arts and crafts, vibrant colourful costumes, community film showing, and eye-catching cultural arts and heritage exhibition.”

This event is open to anyone and everyone who would love to partake in Filipino culture through food, entertainment, and fun.

So if you’re looking to expand your palette, enjoy musical performances or love cultural experiences, Fun Philippines is a great place to start.
