Gourmet comfort food chain launches in Toronto with two new locations

An exciting new comfort food chain has just launched in Toronto and they’ve opened two locations across the city. Friday Burger Company is the latest tasty burger spot in Toronto and here’s what to know about it.

The newest venture by Chef Joe Friday brings a tantalizing, gourmet twist on classic comfort food such as burgers, fries, chicken sandwiches, and more.

Its shining star, Chef Friday’s signature burger, took him two decades to perfect but all that hard work paid off as the restaurant has launched inside TABLE Fare + Social and soon to be on the Danforth.

“Opening Friday Burger Company, a restaurant dedicated to the art of the classic burger and comfort food, has been a long-time dream of mine,” said Chef Joe Friday.

“Every Friday Burger is handcrafted, fresh and made using only the highest quality and local ingredients. I truly believe they are good for the soul and I can’t wait for Torontonians to taste the new best burger in town!”

There are four burgers to enjoy, such as the Friday Burger, the Double Friday Burger, the Chili Cheeseburger, and the Mushroom Burger.

Along with that, the menu also includes Southern-inspired Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwiches and Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwiches, Grilled Chicken Sandwiches, Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, Fried Pickles, Friday Fries, Chili Cheese Fries, Poutine and Onion Rings.

As for drinks, you can expect hand-spun milkshakes and craft beverages. Don’t forget to eat your veggies -those looking for greens can enjoy a Kale Salad or Chopped Cobb Salad.
