Consider this your sign to see what’s going on at your local library branch. Vancouver Public Library regularly offers library-goers a variety of career and immigration services, book clubs, and film screenings, in addition to hundreds of free classes and workshops. So whether you want to improve your personal finance or interview skills, learn how to play an instrument, or just try something new in a low-stakes environment, there’s likely an event at the VPL with your name on it.

Classes and workshops

From watercolour and music recording to designing your own board game, here are some of the classes and workshops you can check out across VPL’s branches in the coming weeks.

Socials, film screenings, and book clubs

Alternatively, here’s something for those who want to meet others with similar interests or curiosities.

For the kids, check out its family board game sessions, Lego block parties, creative writing classes, and more.

Happy learning!
