This Vancouver restaurant was just ranked one of the best in Canada for fine dining

Lovers of food and fine dining, take note. TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice ranking for 2022 is out, and these high-end dining spots were ranked as the best in Canada, according to stellar reviews by TripAdvisor users.

Among the 10 that made the cut is Vancouver’s own Five Sails Restaurant, which is ranked #4 on this list, and #5 out of 2,417 restaurants in Vancouver.

Inspired by BC’s ocean and coastal mountains, Five Sails offers everything from seafood and kaviari platters to weekend high tea. Enjoy waterfront views as you feast from their floor-to-ceiling windows.

Other BC restaurants

And Vancouver isn’t the only city in BC with a thriving food scene. Several other restaurants have been ranked the best for fine dining, including Pluvio Restaurant in Ucluelet, which secured the #1 spot!

Pluvio doubles as an award-winning hotel, but it’s what comes out of their world-class kitchen that keeps guests coming back. Their innovative dishes focus on seasonal and wild ingredients foraged from the Ucluelet forests, with “a few sneaky international treats,” according to their website. You can view their menu here.

And last but not least, we have the Rimrock Cafe in Whistler, which secured the #10 spot. Advertised as “Whistler’s best restaurant for fish and game,” Rimrock serves up delicious wild salmon, venison steak, filet mignon, and much more. Oh, and if you’re a fan of sampling vintage wines – they’ve got quite the lineup there too.
