It’s been just over a month since FX announced that its hit anthology series, Fargo, would be back and filming in Calgary and while that news was all well and good – what dropped today is far more star-studded!
A production familiar to Albertans, Fargo has shot 3 of its 4 seasons in and around the area with everyone from Kirsten Dunst, Ewan McGregor, and Martin Freeman spotted as part of its ever-changing cast.
This, of course, raises an important question though.

Well, while producer, Noah Hawley, has stayed pretty hush-hush about the plot (only sharing that it will take place in 2019) this season’s showrunners have finally been revealed!
Known for Mad Men, Top Gun: Maverick, and Baby Driver, Jon Hamm will star alongside, Juno Temple (Ted Lasso) and Jennifer Jason Leigh (Atypical) in season 5 of the acclaimed series and we’re more than happy to host!
We can’t wait for them to fall in love with the province – just as recent visitors like Andrew Garfield, Daisy Edgar Jones, and Pedro Pascal have while filming.
Unfortunately, there isn’t an official timeline of when and where they’ll start rolling, but we’ll keep you in the know as more information comes to light.
