One of Toronto’s most beloved eateries, Fahmee Bakery has announced its return to its most iconic spot – Bathurst Station.

In an exciting Instagram post, the popular bakery that specializes in Jamaican patties shared the announcement with its loyal fans.

“This year is the year we all are coming back. We went through COVID, inflation, now this recession,” reads the post.

“It’s time for big moves to happen to get back what we lost in the past THREE YEARS.”

The bakery dealt with an unfortunate fire back in 2022 which shuttered the iconic destination, never to reopen again.

They remained open at its 222 Lansdowne Avenue location and had appearances at a number of pop-ups around the city. But the patty-shaped hole left by the Bathurst Station closure was never fully filled.

“Our first big move this year is being the official patty at Bathurst Station, WHERE WE BELONG,” continued the post.

And we’re sure Toronto agrees.

Though this is amazing news for those in the west, Scarborough will have to continue to wait. There are no plans for a reopening at Warden Station just yet.

For now, you’ll just have to stop by Fahmee Bakery at Bathurst Station for a quick bite. It’ll be worth it!
