Over three and a half years since kicking things off, Elton John has announced the final dates for his farewell tour, and with stops in Canada. The 74-year-old musician’s 3-year tour was originally going to end this year, but the pandemic has pushed things back a little bit.

Which is good news for two Canadian cities! Both Vancouver and Toronto will have one more chance to catch the music legend live in concert, after already getting shows in 2018/2019. And, those living elsewhere in Canada will have ample time to plan trips, since they’re not happening until next fall.

Elton John is set to perform in Toronto on September 7th, 2022. Meanwhile, the Vancouver concert will take place a month and a half later, on October 22nd. He’ll be playing at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, and BC Place in Vancouver. A teaser released earlier today saw him promise to pull out all the stops to make the concerts memorable.

But really, the guy’s a legend, so he could be screaming into a megaphone and we’d probably still want to get tickets. Which, by the way, are slated to go on sale for North American stops on Wednesday, June 30th. Mark your calendars, music fans!
