Picture this: summer evening, stars in the sky, a cozy picnic blanket and snacks, and loads of great movies. That’s just what you’ll get at the Toronto Outdoor Picture Show. For yet another year in a row, this awesome cinematic event is hitting the city.

The multi-week film programming will feature curated films and special screenings all August long. This year’s season is called TOPS & Friends, and it’s all about celebrating outdoor film and community.

As usual the lineup is going to be pretty stellar. TOPS will feature selected screenings from a ton of Toronto’s favourite ongoing film festivals. These include Inside Out, Vector Festival, Toronto Palestine Film Festival, Regent Park Film Festival, Breakthroughs Film Festival, Goethe-Institut Toronto, Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival, and more!

Of course, the best part of the whole thing is that tickets to the event are FREE. However, they are limited due to COVID-19 regulations, so you’ll have to act fast if you want to nab yourself some. Last year, tickets were known to sell out in minutes.

Tickets for upcoming shows, as well as more details on the schedule, are set to be released in July. To stay as up-to-date as possible, you can sign up for the TOPS Newsletter online here.

We’ll see ya at the movies!
