Something in The Water Brewery

Liberty Village will soon be home to a new brewery, as Toronto’s Something in the Water plans to open its Euro-style spot this spring. Think of a pedestrian walkway with a sunny patio, colourful interiors, and a couple of swings at the bar, all of which are parts of the plan for Something in the Water’s brewery.

And as for intimacy, there will be seating for about 40 people inside, and they’re looking to curate artisanal snacks from all over Ontario, as well as within Liberty Village itself. Expect sours, and more curious creations, once the brewery is up and running. And get ready to hit Liberty Village as part of your future brewery crawls if you’re a beer fan.

Joining the existing restaurants in Calgary and Toronto’s entertainment district, Añejo is set to open a third location in North York. According to leasing plans shared by CF Don Mills, the new restaurant will be located at the shopping centre.

“Our handcrafted recipes cooked to perfection are a sweet marriage of local ingredients and authentic recipes that serve as the perfect mate for any number of our back-bar tequilas or masterfully mixed cocktails,” says the restaurant’s description.

And if this spot is anything like the one on King West, we can also look forward to “halfy-hour” deals like half-off tequila, mezcal, and tacos every single day.
