Easter at Sea to Sky Gondola 

We’re kicking off this list with two exciting events happening at the Sea to Sky Gondola this long weekend: An Easter Egg gathering along the Spirit Trail and Easter Brunch at the Summit Lodge. Both events are from 10 am to noon, with brunch being offered in a buffet style for $45 per person (children under 12 eat for free!) If you’re looking for a great pick for the whole family to enjoy, this is it.

Shop Shop Shop Easter Event at Pacific Arts Market

Looking to do a bit of shopping or check out some local art? You can do both at the Pacific Arts Market during Easter weekend. From 1 to 5:30 pm on Friday, April 7th, guests can drop in for family-friendly arts and crafts, load up on treats, go on a themed hunt, and support local.

Warehouse sales in Vancouver are few and far between, so this marks an especially exciting week, with the Adidas warehouse sale coming up this Thursday, as well as a new Plenty warehouse sale from Friday to Monday with up to 90% off! Take part in an Easter Egg hunt 

Easter is coming up on April 9th, which means a ton of easter egg hunts and family-friendly extravaganzas will be popping up around the city. Thankfully, the Vancouver Park Board has made it easy to locate your nearest Easter event through their long weekend activity sheet.

Disco Inferno

Get ready to boogie on down to the sounds of the 1970s with “Disco Inferno,” the latest production by the non-profit society, Dusty Flowerpot Cabaret. This half discotheque half musical comedy is set in 1979, and involves dancers coming down from the stage to mingle with guests, who are encouraged to dance themselves.

Whether you want to dance the night away or sit back and enjoy the show, “Disco Inferno” has something for everyone!

Bunny Kisses & Easter Wishes Market

Richmond’s Lulu Island Winery is hosting a free, dog-friendly Easter-themed market from 1 to 5 pm on April 7th and 8th. Peruse amazing vendors and handmade crafts, sip on BC wine, and take part in an Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt (just over $6 to participate).

See what’s in bloom at VanDusen 

While there might not be an official festival to mark the occasion, VanDusen Botanical Garden truly blossoms come springtime, no pun intended. In March, guests can expect to see early Rhododendrons, Winter Aconite, and Cornelian Cherry Blossoms, and in April, you’ll find magnolias, Japanese Cherry Blossoms, Pacific Dogwood, and more in bloom.

And last but not least, we’ve got an event that’s exclusively for adults. Vancouver’s nightclub Elysium invites EDM and Afrobeats lovers to dance the night away on Sunday, April 9th.
