Canada’s highest-elevation restaurant is in BC with panoramic mountain views

For those who enjoy experiencing travel through their plates, there’s an incredible dining experience in the mountain town of Golden, British Columbia that you’ll want to add to your bucket list. Situated in the renowned Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is Eagle’s Eye – the highest-elevation restaurant in Canada. Here, every table is treated to panoramic views of the Canadian Rockies!

Those looking to dine amongst the mountain peaks can head up the single gondola up to the summit, with breathtaking mountain views and surrounding national parks in the process.

At an elevation of 7,700 feet, Eagle’s Eye features a world-class restaurant atop the Purcell Mountains, as well as a mountain suite available for booking.

From the gondola, visitors can spot the ridges and bowls that keep the snow pristine all season long – granting the resort the title of the Champagne Powder Capital of Canada.

In an email with Curiocity, a representative of Kicking Horse shares that the ski resort will open for the season on Friday, December 6th, operating until mid-April.

Eagle’s Eye is open throughout the ski and snowboard season for scheduled lunch service and a handful of specialty dinner events held throughout the winter. So stay tuned for more info on dinner offerings to come!

Note that the specialty meals must be pre-booked, as they do typically sell out.

So there you have it, BC. If you want to take your next date night to the skies, you know where to go!
