Summer is here and that means it’s the perfect time to explore Toronto, with your furry friend right by your side, of course. That being said, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best dog parks scattered across Toronto. They deserve the best, and so do you!

Sherwood Park

This park has an off-leash area located in a fenced off-trail spot. To find it, all you have to do is follow signs on the trail.

Riverdale Park West

Another great option is in Toronto’s east end. Spend the day at Riverdale Park West and enjoy its off-leash area on Riverdale Farm.

Cedarvale Park

In order to access the off-leash area, you’ll need to head to Strathearn Rd. There you’ll find ample space for your pup to roam and play fetch… Or just sunbathe like this adorable guy here.

Ramsden Park

With ample shade, even on the hottest days, your four-legged friend can stay cool all day long. Ramsden Park is a great spot right off Avenue Road. It’s a great community of dog owners and you’ll love the off-leash space too.

Earl Bales Dog Park

If you’re looking to make some puppy friends, this is the place. Earl Bales Dog Park is a fenced-off area where dog owners tend to gather. They’ll enjoy it and so will you.

Sunnybrook Park

In North York, you’ll find Sunnybrook Dog Park, located just southeast of Sunnybrook Hospital. Nature lovers looking to take their pup on a scenic walk will love this spot. There’s a massive open space for your pup to enjoy. They won’t want to leave.

Cherry Beach Dog Park

After you let your pups roam and play at Cherry Beach’s dog park, they can cool off in the lake and stay refreshed all day long. Talk about a puppy’s paradise!

Wychwood Barns Park

Not only is Wychwood Barns a hub for community gatherings, farmers markets, and the annual Gluten-Free festival, but it’s also a destination for dog owners and their furry friends. There’s an off-leash area that can be accessed via Christie Street, south of Benson Avenue.

High Park

You can’t go wrong with a day at High Park. Toronto’s massive park space is the perfect spot to take your pup on a nice sunny day.
