Furry friends at the ready, folks! With a new month hot on our heels, the 2022 Calgary Dog Jog is just Milk-Bone away and the Humane Society wants to see you and your pup out, about, and making a difference.

Held every year in hopes of ending animal cruelty, the CHS and supporters of the organization will take to the streets to run or walk in the name of our four-legged counterparts who don’t have a voice.

“Today, and for our entire 100-year history, Calgary Humane Society is committed to protecting and caring for the animals in our city,” says Carrie Fritz, Executive Director of the Society in a press release.

“With the support of the community and by pledging to fundraise for events such as Dog Jog, we know we can make a difference for the animals in our city.”

From education, protection, and rehabilitation, the annual Dog Jog (as mentioned above) will, in fact, raise money for life-saving programs and spread awareness – all while being fun for the entire family – including Fluffy!

In addition to the main event, participants will also be able to explore their Kid Zone, grab a drink at their beer gardens, have a bite at one of the many food trucks, and listen to live music.

If you’d like to sign up – registrants are asked to help pledge $100 to the Calgary Humane Society, though anyone is welcome to attend for $10.
