There’s a lot to see at Pike Place Market. Between the food, people watching, view and more, our eyes are always busy. But if you look really carefully while walking around the market, you might just notice a few things that look a little out of place. We’re talking about Pike Place Market’s secret art.
The market has been a source of inspiration for quite a few artists. After all, it’s quite unique and special to our city. And over the years, the market has built up quite a collection of public art. You might be most familiar with Georgia Garber’s iconic pig statue that sits out front. But what about Dan Webb’s light bulb holding figures on the Western Ave Hillclimb?

Well regardless, the bottom line is that there’s a lot more to see at the market than what immediately catches your eye. So while the market is quieter these days we highly recommend that you head down, support your favorite vendors and check out these secret art pieces.
And don’t worry, there’s a guide to most of the pieces which can be found here. But if you really want to go on a scavenger hunt, see if you can find all the pieces without the use of the guide.
