Well, folks were back for another home of the week. And this week we’re heading over to Washington Park to take a look at a pretty sweet modern home that has all the PNW features you could ask for. Not to mention, it’s right by Lake Washington and you can’t go wrong with that.

Home of the Week: 1019 39th Ave E

home of the week

This 1990s home was designed by George Suyama which means it’s pretty much peak PNW design. It features a perfect blend of both outdoor and indoor living, with an amazing patio, courtyard, koi pond, and garden. Talk about some serious relaxation.

And at 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, this home is spacious without feeling too big. Plus, the home is filled with tons of windows, creating a naturally-lit oasis inside. And one of our favorite features of this house is the inner sunroom which is perfect for all of you green thumbs out there.

And of course, we’re also into the walkways and the plentiful number of bookshelves. Because you can never have too many books for the rainy PNW winters. But a house this special will cost you a pretty penny. In fact, it’ll cost you $4.6 million, but the good news is that the price is down from its original listing. (Not that we have anywhere near $4.6 million).
