The trail to get to the falls is a relatively easy hike! The trail loop of Decew Falls takes you past the waterfall and the historic Morningstar Mill at the top!

Morningstar Mill is a rural industrial heritage site featuring a working grist mill, rebuilt in 1872.

Once you’ve checked out the mill, it’s time to set off to see the falls.

The trail leading to DeCew Falls is a 2.25-km loop, and as you follow the path you’ll find multiple points at which you can see the 72-foot cascading falls!

There’s more than one cascade to visit, too.

Just beside the main falls is what some call “Tunnel Falls”. This cascade is much smaller but still pretty cool!

Finally, found downstream from is lower DeCew Falls.

The falls get pretty busy as the weather starts to warm up and on the weekends so be sure to plan your visit accordingly.

Don’t forget to wear appropriate footwear and snap a few photos while you visit!
