Listen up, fans of Dairy Queen. It’s hard not to love a deal, especially when it’s a sweet one, literally! As we approach “Treat Szn”, Dairy Queen is giving away free ice cream in March, more specifically their iconic cones and it’s on one day only! Here’s when you can enjoy Free Cone Day.

This year, Free Cone Day takes place on March 19th, which also happens to be the first day of spring.

Fans of the fast food chain can get one free small vanilla cone, keep in mind the limit is one per customer, while supplies last.

“To some, longer days and budding blooms signal spring’s arrival. To us, they indicate that Free Cone Day is right around the corner,” states Dairy Queen on their website. “Or, as we like to think of it, the start of Treat SZN. Even if you (like us) enjoyed our world-famous DQ soft serve in the depths of winter, a cone just hits differently when the ground begins to thaw.”

They add that they want to make this year its “biggest Free Cone Day ever.”

The free small vanilla cone is available at participating US non-mall locations.

While there aren’t any Dairy Queens in Seattle, there are several around the city. The closest locations for Seattleites are located in Edmonds, Burien, Bellevue, and Renton. There are also several other locations throughout the state of Washington. With that, get ready to hop in the car and enjoy the free cone!
