Looking for authentic French fare in Vancouver? A new French-inspired restaurant and cocktail bar called Dahlia is opening at the end of this week. So get ready to dive into a sea of flavours!

Situated inside Vancouver’s new AZUR Legacy Collection Hotel, Dahlia’s dishes are influenced by the cuisine of the French Riviera and Italian coastline. From Croque Madame and Beef Tartare to seared Foie Gras and caviar service – there will be plenty to indulge in here.

What’s more, each dish will showcase local ingredients that remain true to Canada’s terroir. This includes Alberta beef, BC salmon, duck from Quebec, and lobster from Nova Scotia – to name a few.

“At DAHLIA, we believe in the joy of sharing delightful dishes with loved ones and fostering lasting memories,” says AZUR Legacy Collection Hotel Executive Chef Shyam Longani.

In terms of drinks, the cocktail menu is filled with martinis inspired by 1920s Paris, sours and old fashioneds of the “Swinging Sixties’, and sparkling and Negroni-based sips.

As for ambiance, chandeliers hang above plush booths and seating and floor-to-ceiling windows reveal glimmering views of the city lights. So consider your date night made!
