Love rooftop dining experiences? Your options may be limited in Vancouver, but the city will soon be home to another fantastic spot. And what’s more, it will be located atop Vancouver’s newest luxury hotel, the Art-Deco-inspired Azur Hotel.

With a timeless look and feel, and a lavish interior, Azur Hotel oozes glamour. From the custom-designed carpet to captivating art pieces adorning the walls – there’s plenty of local and international inspo there to transport you to a new world.

And you don’t have to wait too long to see it, because the hotel is opening its doors on September 9th.

The hotel

As the only property in western Canada to join “The Leading Hotels of the World,” Azur is part of an exclusive 400 members of the most elite hotels around the globe.

The project was curated by Farida Sayani and her daughter Sofia, resulting in 13 floors of elegant, warm rooms, penthouse suites, and elevated dining options. Guests are greeted by a grand marble lobby entrance and floor-to-ceiling windows that bathe the interior with natural light.

“From the views and the food to the decor and style, we’ve left no stone unturned in our desire to provide guests and visitors with unforgettable experiences while setting a new standard for excellence in hospitality,” says Managing Director Farida Sayani.

Rooftop restaurant & bar

No matter where in the hotel you stay, you’ll feel treated to an indulgent retreat, tucked away from the bustling streets. Guests can stay connected with the latest technology – seamlessly integrated into each of the 104 rooms. As well, they can unwind in a giant soaker tub, enjoy heated floors, and indulge in modern bites from the lobby’s Dahlia Restaurant.

And if you want to head to the roof, Vancouver’s first and only custom-designed, garden-like rooftop spot awaits. Lavantine Rooftop Restaurant boasts stunning panoramic views of the city, a relaxed yet stylish ambiance, and a menu inspired by the Levant Region – with a signature West Coast spin.

The Skybar is another scenic spot for guests to relax over a couple of contemporary cocktails while admiring the view.

While the hotel is opening its doors this week, the restaurant itself has yet to announce its opening date.

So there you have it, Vancouver. If you’re looking to check out a new hotel in Vancouver, you won’t have long to wait.
