Summer may be coming to an end, but across Canada, there are several all-season beauties you can still enjoy when temperatures drop. Just one of the many we’d recommend this fall? The Crescent Falls Provincial Recreation Area in Alberta.

Located west of Nordegg, this newly reopened area is surrounded by stunning mountain views and features a 30-metre waterfall with two ledges and clear water.

Last year, Alberta Parks announced that they would be closing the area to make improvements and did they ever!

Not only did they expand the nearby parking lot, but they added formal viewing platforms so visitors could better see the water rush through the Bighorn River Valley.

You’re encouraged to enjoy a picnic, the wildlife, and the sun—as long as the weather cooperates.
