The food is familiar yet extraordinary. The drinks are delightful, especially their craft beers. The music and vibe are both electric. And the bowling matches, giant Jenga rounds and arcade games are straight-up a hoot. National on 10th is already a Calgary go-to for all things fun. This inner-city restaurant on 17th Ave needs zero introductions. The place has been a long-time staple for Calgarians and a new celebrity hotspot in town. Sure, the place in all its casual, industrial décor is beautiful. But their comfort-meets-innovative food menu and impressive cocktail line-up are the shining stars here. Of course, they are great for holiday gatherings. You can book the Private Dining Room for up to 18 guests, the Model Citizen for up to 50 guests and the whole place for up to 70 guests.

Sky 360
If you’re hoping for an elevated dining experience, this is the place for it (literally and figuratively). This revolving restaurant atop Calgary Tower has everything to make for an unforgettable experience. Think exceptional food, curated cocktails, warm service, upscale vibe and unreal views of the city and even the Rockies on a clear day. Plus, you can enjoy the viewing deck after your meal for even more incredible city views. Of course, it is the dreamiest of holiday party destinations.

Lulu Bar
This gorgeous chef-driven restaurant and bar ruled the 82nd spot on Canada’s Best Restaurants list of 2022. Clearly, they’ve got the whole exceptional dining experience thing pat down. With their creative food menu and elaborate drinks menu, the pickiest of foodies among us are bound to be impressed. And of course, there’s also the matter of their all-season patio. Celebrating with your loved ones also enjoying the bustle on the snowy street is a whole mood in itself.

Lonely Mouth
This Japanese-inspired sake bar and restaurant is one of the newer residents on 17th Ave. The place has barely been around for half a year and they are already a smash hit. This is partly because of their inventive, modern Japanese recipes and unparalleled sake menu. And partly because of the overall experience including fun traditional touches like the oshibori hot towels and the unique o-choko cups. It sure makes for one helluva celebration spot.
